Another cracker of a day

Once again another beautiful day. David has now created 2 compost boxes and 2 to go. Me... I did a little gentle pruning, gooseberries bite back, so I have found. And a little tidying up around the helibores. Now we need another bonfire to get rid of more rubbish. I am getting quite handy at pruning with one hand and throwing Rubys ball with the other. Sure I could do more work without being chief ball thrower, but somehow that might not be such fun.
At last night is falling so I have been allowed back into the house, presumably to make dinner. Nothing too smart there, bangers and mash tonight. I am having a go at drying chives in the oven, will see how they taste once Ive finished with them. I am having great fun with the breadmaker, assisted by the Rayburn, have managed to back some rusks, chelsea buns , rolls and fresh bread,,, only trouble is then we have to eat it.
Alun the farmer is coming to advise us about fencing and wether the fields " need some shit "... his words not mine.
