A quiet day today, bit of rain, just enough to be annoying enough to make me bring in the washing. Seun is a little better, think he has cellulitis of his front leg. Should have blood results back tomorrow. He is turning his nose up at anything that looks like dog food, prefering a little boiled chicken breast with rice. Im sure he is laughing at me behind my back.
Today, Brian , the local gravedigger (who convieniently lives next door to Wynn, the local undertaker ) popped in to give us a quote for fencing. We think we will have a go at cutting back some of the hedges so that the sheep fencing can be attached to the exsisting fence posts. I am expecting a few scratched arms before the weekend.
The tree surgoen will call tomorrow ( which means some time in the next fortnight in Welsh/english ) to have a look at the huge collapsing conifer we have inherited. We thought that just a big branch had collapsed with the weight of snow in the winter, but once we actually got around the back of the tree we can see its collapsed several times, and been propped up on a variety of planks... wheres health and safety when you need it ??
Wisely David has decided that its too big a job for a man with a new chain saw... thank goodness.
Tomorrow night is Wednesday, which means Ruby and I have to attend dog training. Its amazing how attentive she can be when you have a pocket full of treats... who says the dog is stupid ??
